Leave no stoned unturned
One thing you must come to terms with before you start any health and fitness journey is that it is not going to go your way all the time. You won’t feel better than you did every day but you will the majority of the time. You might put weight on some weeks but the majority of the time you will lose weight (if that’s what your goal is). The basics are that there will be ups and downs and there is nothing you can do about it but there are ways to minimise this. We can do this by scanning body composition (where available), having blood tests done and even going as far as having genetic testing done. This isn’t always needed but its good to be able to get as much information as you can if something doesn’t go to plan which it will inevitable happen.
